Joseph Monticchio 89, of Lincoln Park died on September 28, 2017.


 


Visiting will be at The Keri Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Sunday 2-4PM.  A mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Monday at 11AM at St. Joseph's Church, Lincoln Park.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.


 


Born in Newark, Joseph lived most of his life in Newark before moving to Lake Hiawatha in 2005.


 


He was draftsman for Wallace & Tiernan, Belleville.  Early in his career he had opened an Italian Restaurant with his brother Lou. He served in The United States Army in occupied Japan during World War II.


 


 Joseph is the son of the late Romeo and Nicolina DeRosa Monticchio.  Brother of Christine Paglia.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
