Obituary of James David Findlay

Born in Paterson, Jim grew up in Fair Lawn and has lived in Lincoln Park for the past 40 years.

He was with Transamerica Wine Corp., Brooklyn, N.Y. for 23 years.  He served in The United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War and served with the New Jersey National Guard for 27 years.

Jim was a member of The American Legion Post 279, Lincoln Park.

Jim was devoted to his family. His 2 grandsons, Tyler and Tanner, were his world.

He is the beloved husband of 45 years to Susan Boccafogli Findlay. Father of Jason, Stacy Stoll, and Corinne Findlay. Devoted Grandfather (Pop Pop) of Tyler and Tanner Stoll. 

Brother of the late Robert Findlay and is survived by his brother Allen Findlay. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He will be greatly missed by his devoted dog Riley and his Grand-dog Saffie.

Visitation will be held at Keri Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday at 10 am at the funeral home.  Please bring a memory or story of Jim to share with the family and guests.
