Obituary of William P Cassidy

William P. Cassidy 89, of Lincoln Park died on 3/1/15. Visiting will be at the Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Wednesday 4-8PM. Services will be on Thursday at 11am at the funeral home. Interment Our Lady of Magnificat Cemetery, Kinnelon. Born in New York City, Mr. Cassidy lived in the Bronx, before moving to Lincoln Park in 1968. He was a Union Plumber for 64 years retiring in 1989. He served in The United States Navy as a Signalman during World War II. He was a member of The American Legion Post 1371 Silver Beach Bronx, N.Y. and a member of UA Plumbers Local #2 New York City. He is the beloved husband of 52 years of the late Christine F Kerin Cassidy. Father of Billy (Janet) and Kevin (Judaline) Cassidy and Christine (Bill) Smolen. Grandfather of Jack and Ryan Cassidy and Matthew Smolen. Brother of Teresa Morris, Margaret Cassidy and the late Mary Gundlach and Patrick Cassidy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
