Christine (Como) D'Ascenza , a lifelong resident of Towaco , 94 yrs. young , moved to her eternal home on Sat., Dec.31st, 2016. Christine was 1 of 9 children born to Michael & Domenica Como. She worked 26 yrs. at J.C.P. & L. managing 5 offices in Morris & Passaic Co. She also enjoyed working with her nephews at Sgarlato's Pizzeria in the WillowBrook Mall. Her deep love of family knew no bounds , during her lifetime she enjoyed golf , travel , good conversation , long walks a good book and was always up for a party. Christine is predeceased by her 5 bros. and 3 sisters. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 yrs. Louis , her dear sister-in-law Victoria Como, her loving and devoted 22 nieces & nephews and by Anthony & Lois Miele who she adored. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a Memorial Mass to be held at 10:30am , Feb.4th at St. Pius X Church, 24 ChangeBridge Rd., Montville.
