Obituary of Barbara Jean Wild

Barbara J. (Elwood) Wild, 69, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 12. A longtime resident of Lincoln Park, she was born and raised in Paterson, and attended Mary Help of Christians Academy in North Haledon and William Paterson University in Wayne. She was retired from 3M Corporation in West Caldwell. Barbara spent her last 13 years dedicating herself as Records Clerk to the Lincoln Park Police Department who she loved as her second family. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth (Flanagan) Elwood. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Jim Wild, her loving son, James Mannetti and his fiancé, Deena Bodenstab, her grandchildren, Olivia and Daniel Mannetti. She is also survived by her brother, Gene and his wife Marge Elwood, her sister Carol and her husband, Bob Banta, her sister Maureen and her husband, Joe Santoro, and her many nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Keri Memorial Funeral Home, Lincoln Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 16, from 4-8 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Lincoln Park on Thursday, March 17 at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre, Totowa immediately following.
