Obituary of Braulio Viera

BRAULIO “BADO” VIERA Braulio Viera, 80, died peacefully on Tuesday December 1 at the Renaissance Nursing Center in Lincoln Park NJ. He is survived by his children Jose Luis Viera, Maria Tannachion Marilyn Viera, Evelyn Viera, Eduardo Viera and Carlos Viera. He is preceded in death by his former wife, Anna Diaz. He is also survived by his longtime companion Marisol West and his step daughters Nydia West and Cayita West, twenty-one grandchildren, more than twenty great-grandchildren and several great-great–grandchildren. Braulio was born and raised in his beloved Humacao Puerto Rico where he made his living fishing in the Caribbean using “launchas” that he built by hand. He was also employed in construction and known for his prowess in masonry. Bado loved animals and raised “gallos”, parakeets, rabbits, goats and more. Never one to sit still, he lived in many places including Guayama PR, Paterson NJ, Mississippi and Florida. Most of all he loved his family and worked hard to support them. Services will take place at the Keri Funeral Home in Lincoln Park NJ on Thursday December 3 from 7 to 9 pm.
