Obituary of Sig Volz

Siegbert "Sig" Volz 76, of Pompton Plains died on November 10, 2015 at home. Visiting will be on Tuesday 2-4pm at Jacksonville Chapel 264 Jacksonville Road Lincoln Park. Service will be at 7pm at Jacksonville Chapel. Cremation will be private. Born in Heilbronn, Germany, Mr. Volz lived in Pompton Plains for many years. He was the long time owner and operator of Volz Corporation, Pompton Plains. He served in The National Guard from 1961-1967. Mr. Volz was a member of Jacksonville Chapel. He is the beloved husband of the late Marie Weiler Volz. Father of Renne Polizzi (David), Heidi DeBlock (Andrew) and Greg Volz (Jennifer). Brother of Gunther and Isolde both of Germany. Grandfather of 6 Grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to Jacksonville Chapel Benevolence Fund would be appreciated.
