Obituary of Robert J. Eckert

Robert J. Eckert, 62, of East Stroudsburg, PA passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019.  He was born in Paterson, NJ and lived in Pompton Lakes, NJ most his life before moving to East Stroudsburg in 2015.  He worked at Brown Chemical in Oakland, NJ for 36 years where he was a I.T. Specialist.  He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.  He was an avid aviator, a New York Giants Football Fan and loved fishing and spending time with his family.  Devoted father of Robert Eckert, Dennis Eckert and Aimee Bierwas.  Long time beloved spouse of Holly Korteling.  Loving grandfather of Tyler, Jake, Amelia, Dylan and Delilah.  Longtime friend of Vincent Stephano.  Visiting on Sunday from 2-5 PM. Funeral Service on Sunday at 5 PM at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ.   Cremation will be private.
