Obituary of William J Woods

William J. Woods age 82 of Paterson passed July 30th. Born and raised in Hoboken he's resided in Paterson 48 years. Bill earned his Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Education at Seton Hall and taught History in the Hoboken Schools 30 years retired 1992 and was presented the key to the city of Hoboken. He served in the Navy and Army during the Korean War. He was a member of NEA and NJEA. He was predeceased by wife Marie and brother Dennis , survivors include daughters Susan Nunez , Linda Wingerter , Coleen Rondanini and Laurie Grabinsky , son William , brothers James and Richard Woods , 8 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild. Visitation at the Keri Memorial Home , 125 Main St., Lincoln Park is Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm Mass 10am Sat. in St. Joseph's Church , Lincoln Pk. followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery , Totowa.
