John P. Messenkopf age 81 of Lincoln Pk. passed Sept.15th. Born in the Bronx resided Bronxville and Ardsley (NY) moving to Lincoln Pk.21 yrs. ago. John was a sales mgr. with Superior Specialties , Appleton , Wisc. retiring 21 yrs. ago. He was a very active golfer , coached little league in Ardsley , an avid sports fan in his youth he was invited to try out for the N.Y. Yankees. He is survived by wife Benita , sons John and Michael and his grandchildren Tyler , Connor , Sydney , Ryan and Michael, sister Eileen Jordan. He was predeceased by brothers Eugene and Richard. Memorial visitation at Keri Memorial is Wed. 9/21 from 3 to 7pm , Mass celebrated 11am Thurs. in St. Joseph's Church , Lincoln Park. Memorial contributions to the Lincoln Pk. P.A.L. would be appreciated.
