Obituary of Anella Burk

Please share a memory of Anella to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Anella Burk went home to be with her Savior Jesus on Saturday December 31, 2016 at 101 years old. She was a Prayer Warrior, and felt the Mantle of prayer placed on her was themost important role in her life. She prayed each day for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and friends. Her prayer was that not one of them would leave this earth without personally knowing her best friend Jesus. She was a worshipper, and was heard worshipping, even during her final hours. Anella exemplified the gifts of generosity and hospitality. All were welcome, and felt comfortable in her home. When someone was in need, she opened her arms, and was helpful to them in caring ways. She was known as a great cook, and a superb housekeeper. She was loved and cherished by her husband Harold for 68 years. Her children and grandchildren adored her and blessed her. She was the most pleasant woman you would ever meet, she loved to laugh, and was always willing to go on any adventure her grandchildren would take her on, even at 100 years old. Anella resided for many years in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania, before moving to Towaco New Jersey in 2007 to be lovingly cared for by her daughter Mary Ann Carlucci. Anella is in heaven rejoicing with her wonderful Husband Harold Burk; her parents Anthony and Anna Gallucci; her siblings Christine Ross (Edward), Angela Schweer (Karl), Raffaela Myers (Lyle), and Joseph Gallucci; her sister- in law Lorraine Gallucci; and her son- in law William Carlucci. Anella will be in heaven to one day welcome all of us who remain:her loving children Mary Ann Carlucci, and Harold Burk (Connie);her brother Rinaldo Gallucci;her adoring grandchildren Michael Burk, Laurel Burk, Deborah Hagemeister, Mark Hagemeister, Timothy Carlucci, Lorraine Carlucci, William Carlucci, and Anna Carlucci; her beloved great- grandchildren Ashley Burk, Joshua Burk, Danielle Burk, Anneliese Markus, Claire Markus, Sarah Hagemeister, Abigail Hagemeister, Nicholas Carlucci, Camille Carlucci, Kaitlyn Carlucci, Gabriella Carlucci, and Jacob Carlucci; along with her many nieces, nephews, cousins, and multitudes of friends. She will have prepared for us meatballs and gravy, pasta fagioli, braciole, and of course her famous fruitcake. We love you so much Mom, Grammy, Aunt Nellie, Dear Friend! We will wear your mantle and carry on your legacy.
