Obituary of Ida V Bennett

Ida V.Bennett 89, of Montville died on March 31, 2016. Visiting will be at The Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Tuesday 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Wednesday at 10AM at St. Pius X Church, Montville. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Born in The Bronx, New York, Mrs. Bennett lived in Middletown before moving to Montville in 1999. She volunteered at Lunch Break and The Calico Corner Thrift Shop both in Red Bank. She was a past communicant at St. Mary's Church, Colts Neck. She also supported and volunteered at various other charitable organizations in Monmouth County. She is the beloved mother of Christine (Phil) Lee, Betty (Nancy Kast) Swaney, Barbara (Wojciech) Mickowski, James (Doreen) and Robert (Janet) Bennett. Grandmother of Sarah, Kasia, Caroline, Jonathan, Jennifer and Anthony. Ida had a great love for people, great sense of humor, was known for her compassion for those in need and her great devotion to her family.
