Richard David Jacob 84 of Sussex formerly of Lincoln Park died on 3/5/15.
Visiting will be on Tuesday 4-8PM at The Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park. Service will be on Wednesday at 10AM at the funeral home. Interment Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
Born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Mr. Jacob lived in Lincoln Park for 50 years.
He was a Chemical Operator with Givaudan, Clifton for 35 years retiring 21 years ago. He served in The United States Army completing 2 tours totaling seven years. He was an Army Engineer in his first tour of duty and in The Military Police during his second tour during The Korean Conflict. He was a member of The American Legion Post 279, Lincoln Park and a member of Grace Bible Church, Pompton Plains.
He is the beloved husband of 53 years of the late Elizabeth Kunis Jacob, Father of Patricia (Tom) Capt, Robert (Bernadette) Outwater, Nancy (Jim) Davis, Gerald (Linda) Jacob and the late James Outwater. Father in law of Mary Outwater. Grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer's Association 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251 Denville, N.J. 07834-1365 would be appreciated.
