Obituary of Michael E Franey

"Michael E. Franey passed away June 18, 2019. He was born and raised in Morristown, New Jersey, and lived in Towaco, NJ most of his life. Michael was a carpenter for Carpenters Union Local 620, and later in life worked as a construction supervisor until retirement. Devoted father of Michael R. Franey and his wife Marielle of Butler, NJ, Sean C. Franey of Rockaway NJ, Patrick E. Franey, and Kevin T. Franey and his wife Marissa, of Towaco, NJ. Dear brother of Kathy Franey Perez of Palm Beach, FL, and Maryellen Franey of West Palm Beach FL and the late Bill and Donny Franey. Loving grandfather of Matthew and Michael Franey. Michael is also survived by Cindy Franey, the mother of his children, and wife of 31 years.  He was a dedicated coach to each of his four sons within the Montville Baseball and Softball Association for over a decade.

A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at The Chapel, 264 Jacksonville Road, Lincoln Park, NJ on Monday, July 15 at 11:00am.  

The family invites all to attend a repast in the gym following the service."
