Obituary of Joseph Massar

Joseph Massar 95, of Lincoln Park died on April 20, 2017. Visiting will be at The Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Monday 6-8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Tuesday at 10AM at St. Joseph's Church, Lincoln Park. Cremation will be private. Born in Hoboken, Joseph lived most of his life in Lincoln Park. He was a graduate of Panzer College. He taught physical education and hygiene, before becoming a machinist at Western Electric, Kearny. Throughout his life he was a passionate member with The Sokol USA, as a gymnastic instructor and a participant in their many gymnastic activities. He loved the outdoors, golf and any other excuse to be outside. He is the beloved husband of the late Margaret Domenick Massar (1998). Father of Barbara Massar and Susan Martucci (Michael). Brother of George Massar (Mary).
