Mary A. Mathewson age 93 passed Thurs., Oct.23rd. Born in Morristown , grew up in Oak Ridge resided in Towaco 55 yrs. Mary earned her BS Degree in Education at Paterson State Teachers College and taught in the Butler , Haworth and FairLawn schools before retiring to raise her family. She was a member of the NJEA and active at The Jacksonville Chapel , Lincoln Pk. She was predeceased by her husband Bruce (1991) surviving are her son Robert B. Matthewson , daughter Irene Volkmann and husband Don , grandchildren Zachary and Amanda Volkmann , nephew Les Dunham and nieces Helen Irene and Dorothy Jean.
