Obituary of Robert Walton

Robert Walton 101, of Port Richey, FL formerly of Towaco and Paterson died on 1/29/14. Visiting will be at The Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park on Monday 4-8PM. Services will be on Tuesday at 10AM at the Funeral Home. Interment Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Mr. Walton worked in the Textile Industry in Paterson for many years. He then worked as an electrician at Mack Molding, Wayne for 10 years retiring in 1977. He was a veteran in the United States Army during World War II and served in India. He participated in The China Burma Theater Campaign. He was a member of The American Legion Post 279, Lincoln Park. He is the beloved husband of the late Edna Mae Mabey Wilson Walton and Alba Winterberg Walton. He is the father of Robert M Walton, Jr. (Sandra), Eileen Smith (Thomas), Joan Van Riper (Mirvan), Richard Wilson (the late Francis) and the late Phyllis Rockefeller. Father in law of Edward Rockefeller. Brother of John C. (late Irene) and William M. (Sophie) Walton. Grandfather of David Walton, Glen and Keith Rockefeller, Robert Van Riper, Cindy Wallace, Laura Murphy and the late Dawn Flynn. Great Grandfather of 8 and Great -Great Grandfather of 6.
