Edie was a wonderful friend with a beautiful smile and kind words for everyone. She and I met 37 years ago and were best friends. She was always there for me. We spent many times shopping, going to lunch, talking on the phone and just laughing and sharing the latest news. Edie was a wonderful substitute teacher at ECLC and her teaching efficiency and kindness was appreciated. She enjoyed playing Rummikub with me, and being a member of our bridge group and book club. I was blessed to have Edie as my best friend.
