Obituary of Luis Gerena

LUIS A. GERENA age 53 passed Wed., Oct. 11th.  Born in Paterson he resided in Lincoln Park 25 yrs. recently moving to Denville. Luis and his dad operated a family business Gerena Hosiery for many years . Currently he was a vault mgr. with Dunbar Armour. He had served as a Special Police Officer in Paterson and Lincoln Park .  Survivors include his wife Maria , son Luis A. and wife Savannah , parents Luis R. and Elizabeth , sisters Diana (husband Eduardo Nephew Christian niece Kayle) Millie (husband Willie nieces Alicia , Adalyn & Alexis) , Sarai (husband Pedro ,nephews Evan , Kelvin & Oliver) Bros. Carlos & children Carlos & Nicole , John and son John Jr. Visitation at the Keri Memorial Home , Lincoln Pk. is Sunday Oct15th 2-4 & 7-9pm with service during visitation. Service will be held during visitation.
