Obituary of William H. Tennant

William H. Tennant age 91 of Pompton Plains passed July 23rd. Born in N.Y.C. he moved to Lincoln Park in 1945 , resided in Haskell from 1950 to 1993 when he moved to Pompton Plains. He served in the U.S.Army during WW-2 Pacific Theater. Bill retired 31 yrs. ago as a clerk in the Wayne Post Offices. He was a member of the Lincoln Park American Legion Post #279. Surviving is his wife of 67 yrs. (July 17th) Alberta , Son Robert and wife Renee , daughters Sandra Schultz and husband Robert and Nancy Tennant and husband Chris Wenzel , grandchildren Adrienne , Lauren , Jill , Erin and Carly , 8 beloved great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations to the Pequannock Twp. First Aid Squad would be greatly appreciated.
