Obituary of John M Foley

John “Jack” Foley, 75, passed away on December 24, 2015, in Lincoln Park, NJ - He is safely home. He was born in Teaneck, NJ and has resided in Lincoln Park since 1969. Jack was a passionate man who adored his wife, children, and grandchildren. He graduated from Iona College and Naval OCS. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the US Navy and was a Past Grand Knight of John F. Kennedy Council, Knights of Columbus in Lincoln Park. He was active for many years with his wife, Barbara, in various ministries at Holy Spirit Parish in Pequannock. He was a current member of St. Mary’s Parish, Pompton Lakes.
He had a long career in sales, most notably with IBM and Xerox. He finished his career helping people at the NJ State of Re-Employment Center.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Barbara, his children Kathleen Filippini, Trish Burke (Kevin), Timothy Foley (Tracy), and Colleen Douma (Scott), his grandchildren Nick, Patrick, Ryann Grace, Brennan, Ashlyn and Brody, step granddaughter Nicole and her son Nicholas, sister Carol Quirk (Bob), brother Paul Foley (Joyce) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 28th from 4-8 PM at Keri Memorial Funeral Home 125 Main Street Lincoln Park.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Tuesday at 10AM at St. Mary's Church Pompton Plains. Interment Our Lady of Magnificat Cemetery, Kinnelon.
In lieu of flowers donations to Wounded Warrior Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
