Obituary of Mildred E. Kaye

Mildred Kaye (nee Manis) 94, of Pompton Plains, NJ passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.  She was born in Bronx, NY and lived in Saddle Brook, NJ before moving to Cedar Crest in 2008.  She was a graduate of Indiana University and received her Masters Degree in Education from Montclair State College. She was a teacher at Bergen Technical High School in Teterboro, NJ for many years and retired in 1997. She was a member of the New Jersey Education Association and National Association of Woman Artists. At Cedar Crest she taught art and was a member of the Socrates Club and the Current Events Club.  Beloved wife of the late Morton Robert Kaye.  Devoted mother of Leslie Kellogg and her husband Paul, Heather Rizzo and her husband Louis, Erik Kaye and Michael Kaye and his wife Mary.  Dear sister of the late Beatrice Armus.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. A Service will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah, Cedar Park and Beth El Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652.
