I became good friends with Jim as he picked Tyler and Tanner up at Lincoln Park Elementary School and I picked up my granddaughter, Courtney. Jim graduated from Fair Lawn High School in 1965 and I graduated in 1957. We enjoyed comparing notes and I am the FLHS football announcer. I'm sorry I learned of Jim's passing too late to attend the viewing or service.

James David’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.
I enjoyed all our yrs together working with you in arng. You are a great friend and I will miss you. Thank you for always cooking for mortar platoon and having hot cup of coffee and a smile for me.
Susie, so sorry that I don't check Facebook every day so did not see Staci's post in time to come north. I will always remember Jimmy as smiling and happy, unless of course,it was a very bad day say the winery. Please know that you and all the family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Dear Sue, Stacy and family,
So sorry for the loss of Jim. I will remember the fondness he shared for his grandkids, the dedication to Sue and his family, and what a decent father, husband, grandfather that I had the privilege to meet.
Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time,
