Frances Rikowich (Meren) age 94, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Saturday, July 18, 2026. A devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Frances lived a life filled with love, strength, kindness and unwavering dedication to those she cherished most.

Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband Alexander (Butch) with whom she shared a lifetime of love and memories. She also was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Rohloff and her grandson Eric Rohloff.

She leaves behind her loving daughter Susan Malavarca and her husband Alan. Their children Chris Malavarca and his wife Meredith along with their children Austin, Lucas and Sophia. Nicole Malavarca and her son Sawyer Jae. Her son Alexander Rikowich, Jr. and his girlfriend Susan. Her son, Robert Rikowich and his wife Laura along with their children R.J, wife Jenna and their daughter Sienna Rose, Johnny, his girlfriend Kiana, Michael and his husband Hunter along with their son Harvey and Robert and Laura's youngest son Jimmy.

She is lovingly remembered by the family of her late daughter Barbara and her fiancé Glenn Neuenhaus, including Barbara's son Craig Rohloff, his wife Amanda and their children Berkley, Bailey and Brody.

Frances's greatest joy in life was her family. She was the heart of countless holiday gatherings, family celebrations and everyday moments that became treasured memories. She had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcomed, valued and cared for.

A special place in Frances's heart was reserved for her lifelong friends Donna and Norman Klein.Their friendship spanned decades and was built on love, loyalty, and unwavering support. She will also be missed by her special friend Mary. She will be sorely missed by her extended family the Alvino's whose memory of her they will always cherish.

Frances leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue through the generations of family she nurtured and adored. Her gentile spirit and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Though she will be missed, her family takes comfort in knowing that her love lives on in each of them and in the countless memories they will cherish.

Frances's family would like to thank Preakness Healthcare Center for their unwavering, compassionate care of their mother throughout her stay there.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ from 10 am - 12 noon.  A funeral Service will be held at 12 noon.  Interment, Christ the King Cemetery in Franklin Lakes, NJ.
