Anthony Pierri, Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Anthony Pierri Jr, 66, of Totowa, NJ.
Anthony Pierri Jr. passed away unexpectedly at home on April 7, 2026. He was predeceased by his father, Anthony Pierri Sr. He leaves behind his loving partner and wife of 40 years, Nancy Pierri, along with his beloved son, Dominic Pierri, daughter, Leann Pierri, and niece, Shannon O’Leary. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Pierri, his siblings, Ralph Pierri and Joseph Pierri, and his sisters, Katherina Wakile and Rosamaria Pierri.
Anthony did not follow a conventional career path, but instead built a life defined by hard work, resilience, and heart—not by titles, but by the work of his hands and the strength of his character. He worked in construction, a “handyman” as many knew him, and spent many years as a chef, taking pride in his ability to fix, build, and create. He was a man who worked with both his hands and his heart.
A man of faith, Anthony believed in God and drew strength from that belief to face many challenges throughout his life.
Anthony was a truly good man, known for his kind and generous heart. He was loving, compassionate, and always willing to help others—especially those who were struggling, in need, or feeling lost. He was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation, offering whatever he could to make someone else’s life a little easier. His generosity was quiet but constant, reflecting the depth of his character and the love he carried for others.
Anthony found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like weekend trips to Atlantic City or days spent on the water, fishing or enjoying both the thrill and peace the boat provided. It was often in these simple moments that he felt most at ease.
Above all else, Anthony’s most cherished role and greatest love in this life was his wife, Nancy. Though flawed and imperfect, his devotion to her never wavered. He loved her deeply and wholeheartedly, and dedicated his life to her and their children. Together, they built a life grounded in unconditional love, commitment, and resilience. Through every season, their bond remained constant, reflecting the depth of his loyalty and the love he held in his heart.
Though he may be gone from this world, the love he gave and the spirit he carried will remain forever woven into the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
