Gasper Giordano Obituary

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Gasper Giordano, known to many as "Sonny." He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather.

Sonny shared an extraordinary 71-year marriage with the love of his life, his wife Vivian. Together they built a life filled with devotion, resilience, and an unbreakable bond that became the heart of our family.

Sonny was a proud veteran of the Korean War, carrying with him a quiet strength, humility, and deep sense of pride in serving his country.

He was the proud father and father-in-law of five daughters: Donna, Kathleen & Peter, Francine and the late Gerard, Joann and Louis, and Vivian and Michael. His legacy lives on through his 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.

Sonny's work ethic began at just 14 years old when he started working at Graziano's Supermarket in Brooklyn, New York. Through years of dedication and perseverance, he rose to become the general store manager, where he remained until his retirement.

After retiring, Sonny and Vivian moved permanently to their summer home in Pennsylvania, where he embraced a new passion for woodworking. Their home there became yet another gathering place for family and friends.

Sonny had a gift that made him unforgettable-his humor, always bringing smiles and laughter to those around him.

Above all, Sonny was a family man. His legacy lives on in our family traditions.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
