Betty A. Moreno (nee Maorisi), 90, of Lincoln Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026. Born in Hackensack, NJ, she lived in Manahawkin, NJ, before moving to Lincoln Park in 2024.

Betty was a homemaker and, many years ago, worked at Joey’s Clothing in Hackensack, NJ. She was an excellent cook who especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was dearly loved by her family and all who knew her.

Beloved wife of 71 years to August T. Moreno. Devoted mother of James Moreno and his wife, Rosemary, and the late Kim Sonsini and her husband, Tony. Dear sister of Carol Zocco and the late Catherine Colella. Loving grandmother of Erin Thierry, Kaitlyn Laverty, Joseph Moreno, and Justin Sonsini. Cherished great-grandmother of Olivia and Luke Thierry, and Reagan Laverty.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
