With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Doreen Allaghi (née Divak), 67, of Pompton Lakes, NJ, a beloved wife, loving mother and devoted Nana. She was born in Passaic, NJ and raised in Wayne, NJ. She married and raised a family in Franklin Lakes, NJ before moving to Pompton Lakes in 2018.

Doreen was the heart of her family - a source of comfort, wisdom and unconditional love. Her husband, children and grandchildren were her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. She had a gift for making people feel loved and took great joy in bringing her family together.

She leaves behind husband Ervin Allaghi whom she was married to for 46 years, her loving children Jay and his wife Brenna, Courtney (Hogan) and her husband Brian, and Trevor, her treasured grandchildren Austin, Charlie, and Parker, along with her brothers Leonard and Mark Divak and sister Denise Crawford.

A devout Catholic her whole life, Doreen served as the Business Manager of Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church in North Arlington, NJ and was a parishioner of Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Franklin Lakes. She was also a member of the North Jersey Country Club in Wayne, NJ.

Though she is no longer with us, her love and values she shared will remain with her family forever.

The family will receive friends at Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 787 Franklin Lake Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ, on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM.
