Martha Maykowski (née Shannon), 99, of Princeton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Martha spent many years in Lincoln Park, NJ before moving to Princeton in 2010. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a dedicated secretary at William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ.

Martha was the beloved mother of Paul Maykowski and his wife Donna, Barbara Smith and her late husband Charles, Steven Maykowski and his wife Maryann, and Michele Maykowski. She was the dear sister of John Lowther and the late June Schneider.

She was a loving grandmother to Jason Maykowski and his wife Kendall, Michael Maykowski and his wife Krista, Erica Smith,Matthew Maykowski and the late Shannon Smith and a cherished great-grandmother to Abigail, Connor, and Lucas Maykowski.

Memorial visiting will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ from 4-6 PM.  A Memorial Service will take place at 5:45 PM.
