Barbara Frances Moynihan Gallagher passed on January 16th at the age of 97 surrounded by those that loved her. She was born January 13th, 1929 in Jamestown, New York to Francis J. Moynihan (Father) and Frances Johnson (Mother).

Barbara lead an adventurous life with her late husband, the love of her life, Edward Thomas Gallagher. Her life was filled with sailing up and down the coast,  spending time with her friends and living life to its fullest. There was no adventure that Barbara would turn down.

Barbara will truly be missed. Her witty and sarcastic personality, unvarnished honesty and fierce loyalty to those she loved made her a safe refuge for some and irreplaceable to all.

Per Barbara’s wishes, there will be no Viewing nor Funeral Service. A small celebration of life will be held in the weeks to come. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you make a donation to the Morristown Memorial Hospital in Barbara’s name.
