Brett Holub journeyed from his life on Tuesday, January20, 2026 at the age of 57. Born on September 22,1968, in Glen Ridge, NJ, Brett spent his early years in Middletown, NJ before settling in West Milford, NJ.

Brett was a skilled and dedicated carpenter, known for his attention to detail, craftmanship, and problem solving. He graduated from Middletown South High School in Middletown Township, NJ.

A loyal and kind hearted individual Brett will be rembered for his big heart and his devotion to his family and friends. He was a caring and loving father to his daughter. He also had a special place in his heart for his beloved cats, Rusty and Mittens, whom he often spoke of fondly.

Brett enjoyed spending time fishing, practicing with air rifles, and finding peace by the ocean (Sandy Hook).

He was predeceased by his mother Barbara and his father, Henry. Brett is survivied by his brother Jeff, as well as extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
