Louisa Mary (Sangiorgi) Wilson, 73, of Lincoln Park, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Louisa was born on September 28, 1952, to Enzo and Rosina Sangiorgi in Lyndhurst.  After, Louisa graduated from Lyndhurst High School, she went on to work at the United States Postal Service.  She worked there for the past 55 years.  Louisa started as a window clerk in Rutherford. She would always greet her customers with a warm smile and an excited hello. To her customers she was known as “Lulu.” 

Louisa married Richard on March 7, 1971. They went on to have two children, Jason and Jannine. 

Louisa was predeceased by Enzo and Rosina Sangiorgi. She is survived by her husband, Richard; her children Jason (Gulcan), Jannine (Chris), and her two beloved grandchildren, AJ and Antonia. She is also survived by her brothers, Roenzo Sangiorgi (Zosia), and Louis Sangiorgi.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews.  

Louisa had a kind heart and a warm soul. She was very generous and compassionate, and she always gave and never expected anything in return.  Friends, family and coworkers all respected and loved her.  She has made lasting impressions on people’s lives. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 23, 2026 from 10am-12pm at Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035.  

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or to Wayne Animal Shelter.
