Nicholas DeStefano Obituary

Nicholas DeStefano, 91, of Lincoln Park, NJ, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025. He was born in Hackensack, NJ, lived in Paterson, NJ for many years, and later settled in Lincoln Park.


Nicholas was a self-employed plumber and the longtime owner of Laurel Bar and Liquors in Paterson. He was deeply involved in his community and proudly served as a football coach for many years with the Lincoln Park P.A.L. Raiders, where he mentored and inspired countless young athletes. He also honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.


He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia DeStefano (nee Woods). A loving father, he is survived by his children, Debra, Nicholas, and Patrick DeStefano. He was a devoted grandfather to Jessie, Michael, Taylor, Allison, and Sydney, and a cherished great-grandfather of Dion and Rosie. Nicholas was also the dear brother of Grace Maurer and Roslyn Nasso.


Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Keri Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ. Cremation will be private. 


In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The United States Marine Corps "Toys for Tots" would be appreciated.
