Honorio Abes Obituary

Honorio Ambrocio Abes,longtime resident of Lincoln Park, New Jersey passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 70. He is survived by his beloved wife, Miriam Tandoc-Abes; his children, Marissa Villeza, Marygrace Abes, and Homer James Abes; his brothers, Eleazar Abes, and Cenen Abes; his sisters, Estelita Abes, Fermina Abes, Perlita Pamintuan, and Diana Abes; and his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.


Honorio was born in General Tinio, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, on December 30, 1954, to Genaro Abes and Consorcia Ambrocio. He worked at Mindray USA as an equipment operator until his retirement in January 2020. On October 10, 1985, he married Miriam Tandoc, a nurse from New Jersey, and in January 1989 he migrated to the United States. Honorio was a simple, quiet man full of wisdom. He was a devoted father and father figure to his children, grandchildren, siblings, nephews, and nieces. He enjoyed bowling, walking( greeting everyone he meets) and serving happily at the soup kitchen with the Missionaries of Charity in Newark, New Jersey. He was an active member of the Bukas Loob Sa Dios Charismatic Community, where he served in various roles, touching the lives of many. He was also a Eucharistic Minister at Holy Cross R.C. Church in Wayne, New Jersey. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.


Visitation will be held on Sunday November 9, 2025, from 3-8 PM at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday November 10, 2025 at Hoy Cross R.C. Church, 17 Van Duyne Avenue, Wayne, NJ
