Concetta Rita Montemurro Obituary

Concetta Rita Montemurro (née Guimarra), 98, of Cape Coral, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Born in the Bronx, New York, to Charles Guimarra and Concetta Fiorella, she attended high school in the Bronx and earned her Business Certificate. She later continued her education at Bergen Community College in Paramus, NJ, where she received her Associate’s Degree.


Concetta enjoyed a long professional career and served as a manager at Toys “R” Us for 8 years, where she was honored with the Manager of the Year Award. She was a proud member of the Rifle Club and was recognized as an expert marksman.


She was the beloved wife of the late John Nicholas Montemurro. A devoted mother, she leaves behind her children: John Montemurro, Lucretia Gravino, Charles Montemurro, Robert Montemurro, Christopher Montemurro, Gregory Montemurro, and Riat Ann Massaro.


She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Patrick Gravino; Gabriel Massaro; and Rose Ann, John, Sarah, Danielle, Christina, Bethany, Nicholas, Joseph, Nicholas, Alex, Gregory, and Joseph Montemurro. She was the cherished great-grandmother of Felix, Sofia, Christopher, Adalyn, Luca, Nicholas, Sophia, and Matteo.


Her family will receive visitors on Saturday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ. Entombment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ.
