Elizabeth “Betty” Donka (née Kocher), 94, of Lincoln Park, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Born in Garfield, Betty had been a resident of Lincoln Park since 1961. She was a dedicated member of the Women’s Bible Study and served as both a Deacon and an Elder at Hope Church in Lincoln Park (formerly First Reformed Church of Lincoln Park). Before retiring in 1997, Betty worked as an EKG and EEG Technician at Chilton Memorial Hospital for 10 years.

She was the beloved wife of the late John Donka. Devoted mother of Mark T. Donka and the late Kenneth, Timothy, and Wendy Marie Donka. Loving grandmother of Steven, Elaine, Emilie, Travis, and Timothy. Cherished great-grandmother of William, Nolan, Annabel, Elliot, Ainsley, and Juliet.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Hope Church, 60 Chapel Hill Road, Lincoln Park, NJ. Visitation will be on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ.
