Maureen E. Tomaselli (née Ruocco), 83, of Lincoln Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. 

Born in Paterson, NJ, Maureen lived in Towaco before making her home in Lincoln Park. For 20 years, she worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Montville Board of Education, retiring in 2008. Beyond her career, she was a parishioner of St. Pius X R.C. Church in Montville and expressed her passion for the arts as a dedicated actress with the Playcrafters Community Theater in Caldwell.

An avid animal lover with a radiant spirit, Maureen’s warmth, kindness, and love for life left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She was the beloved wife of the late Louis Tomaselli; devoted mother of Cindy Lubrano and her husband Michael, Tina Mazzola and her partner Tammy, Louis Tomaselli, Dante Tomaselli and his husband Tony, and Michael Tomaselli and his wife Janet; dear sister of Richard Ruocco; loving grandmother of Christy, Michelle and her husband Scott Niewiadomski, Louis, Dante and his spouse Devin, Anthony, and Olivia; and cherished great-grandmother of James, Peter, and Franky.

Maureen will be remembered for her generous heart, her creative spirit, and the deep love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ from 4-7 PM.
