In Loving Memory of Marilyn O’Rourke

Marilyn O’Rourke of Wayne, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at the age of 90.

Born on May 2, 1935, Marilyn lived a long and meaningful life centered around family, creativity, and kindness. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she was known for her gentle spirit, generous heart, and love of all things handmade.

Marilyn found joy in the simple pleasures—curling up with a good book, completing crossword puzzles, and bringing color to her world through crafts, quilting, crocheting, and coloring. Her hands were rarely still, always creating something beautiful and useful for others. She especially loved knitting baby caps, blankets, scarves, winter hats, and mittens, many of which she donated to those in need—sharing warmth in more ways than one.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas O’Rourke, and her cherished grandson, Alex Ingino. She is survived by her loving daughter, Helen Ingino; granddaughters Melissa Vella and her husband Angelo Vella, Christina McMahon, Cynthia McMahon, and Katrina McMahon; and her treasured great-grandchildren Alex, Gianna, Nico, and Joey Vella.

Marilyn’s legacy of love, creativity, and quiet generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A private service will be held by the family. And a church service is TBD.
