Emma Jane Stansfield, 22 years old, of Lincoln Park, New Jersey, passed away suddenly at her home on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
Emma was born in Ridgewood New Jersey and lived in Lincoln Park all of her life.
Emma was the beloved daughter of Colleen Brogan Stansfield and Matthew Stansfield; cherished granddaughter of James and Stephanie Stansfield, and George (Corky) and Mary Brogan; dear niece of Sean and Jillian Brogan, Kevin Brogan, and James and Jennifer Stansfield. She’s also survived by her cousins Lindsay Ruth Brogan, Aidan James Stansfield, Leah Mary Brogan, Caleb Geoffrey Stansfield, and Ian William Brogan.
From a young age, Emma was a talented and passionate athlete who played field hockey, basketball, and softball, which she played at the varsity level as a freshman at Boonton High School. She also participated as a cheerleader during the football season of her sophomore year. Beyond athletics, Emma was funny and brought many smiles to those around her. Emma was known for her deep empathy and care for others. Emma was known for her academic achievements, as well.
