Juanita Solano (nee Castrillo), 84, of Lincoln Park, formerly of Paterson, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 3, 2025. She was born in Puntarenas, Costa Rica, and moved to Paterson,NJ 60 years ago. She was an Electronics Technician and worked for Mosler Electronics in Wayne retiring 19 years ago. Juanita was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist  in Paterson. She enjoyed praying the rosary and would pray many times a day. She was also a big Yankee fan. Most of all Juanita loved her family and was happiest when everyone was together.

Juanita is predeceased by her husband Pedro Solano in 2012, and her son Andres Solano in 1989. She is the dear sister of Jorge, Gerardo and Ana Maria Castrillo, Cecelia Espejo, and Teresita Castro. 

Funeral From Keri Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ, on Tuesday July 8, 2025 at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 286 Haledon Avenue, Prospect Park, NJ 07508 at 10 AM. Visiting on Monday, July 7, 2025 from 4-8PM. Interment at Fair Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
