Nancy Muhaw (née Hare), 91, of the Borough of Point Pleasant, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, Nancy lived in Montville, New Jersey, for many years before settling in Point Pleasant in the early 1990s. She was a devoted member of Living Faith Bible Church in Brick, New Jersey. She had previously attended The Jacksonville Chapel in Lincoln Park, New Jersey.
Affectionately known as “Knitting Nancy” by family and friends, she was known for her love of knitting sweaters, quilting, and sewing. She was also an avid skier and a proud member of the Craigmeur Ski Club in Rockaway, NJ. In addition to skiing, she enjoyed playing tennis, creating arts and crafts, and spending time at the beach with her family.
Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Frank Muhaw and the devoted mother of James Muhaw and his wife, Susan, of Montville, NJ, as well as the late Neil and Glenn Muhaw. She was the dear sister of Elsie Phielix of Tucson, AZ, and the late Richard Hare of Orchard Park, NY. She was the loving grandmother of Kirsten Beam and Erika Muhaw and the cherished great-grandmother of Addison June Beam.
Nancy also leaves behind her feisty but loving 11-year-old dachshund, Claus.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, Jine 22, 2025 @ 2PM at The Living Faith Bible Church ,
