Frank Xavier Klinger, 94, of Montville, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2025. Born in Newark, NJ, he had been a proud resident of Montville since 1962.

Frank dedicated much of his career to the insurance industry, serving as Vice President of Meaney Insurance Agency in Bridgewater, NJ, until his retirement in 2010. A man of deep faith, he was a devoted parishioner of St. Pius X R.C. Church in Montville and an active member of V.F.W. Post 5481.

Frank honorably served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Beatty diring the Korean War from 1951-1955. Following his service,he attended Seton Hall University. He had a passion for basketball—something that remained with him for many years as he played competitively across the country. In addition to basketball, he was an avid golfer who cherished time on the course.

Frank was the beloved life partner of Ellen Winkowski (née Beck) and the devoted husband of the late Mildred Klinger (née Cappozzi). He was a loving father to Frank J. Klinger and his wife Diane, John F. Klinger, and the late Mary Klinger O’Halleran. He was a dear brother to Mary Kiene and a cherished grandfather to Joseph Klinger, Allyson Falls, and Mellissa and Kelly O’Halleran, Ryan and Jesse Cirasiello, and Brittany George.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 10 AM at St. Pius X R.C. Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
