Joan C. Weir, 87, of Mountain Lakes, NJ passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024. She was born in the Bronx, NY and lived in Lincoln Park, NJ for most of her life before moving to Mountain Lakes in 2023. She was a clerk for Met Life in New York, NY for 40 years and retired in 1992. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church in Lincoln Park. Dear sister of Mary Ellen Petersen and her husband Robert and the late John "Jack" Weir. Loving aunt of Robert J. Petersen, Glenn A. Petersen, John J. Petersen, James M. Petersen, Carolyn Broadwater, Patti Jennings, John Weir and Valerie L'Heureau. She is also survived by several grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral Service at Keri-Lozito Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 10 AM. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. Visiting on Wednesday from 9-10 AM.
