Obituary of Dolores V Sereno

MONTVILLE TWP - Dolores Veronica Sereno passed away at home on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 after a short illness. She was 81. Born in Paterson to the late Roy and Vera (Gaherin) Decker on October 29, 1931, she was a long-time resident of Pine Brook, settling here in 1960. She was a member of St. Pius X R. C. Church in Montville, active in the Rosary Society, and a volunteer at the school. She served as a Brownie Leader, and active in the Montville art community to share her interest in art. She is survived by her husband, John Sereno, her children, Michael Sereno and Beth Sereno Dailey, two grandchildren Michael Joseph Sereno and Sean Matthew Dailey as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements are by the Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main Street, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 2-6 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Pius X Church in Montville. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery on Totowa Road in Totowa.
