Patrick Dominick Scucci, 88, of Pomption Plains, NJ, passed on March 5, 2018, after a long illness.
Pat was born in Lyndhurst, NJ, to parents Pasquale Scucci and Rose Cassiere Scucci. He was the youngest of 10 children. He graduated from Lyndhurst High School in 1948.
Pat served in the Air Force in San Antonio, Texas, in 1951. While there, he met Dell (Chockie) Powell, whom he married on September 20, 1953. He enjoyed teaching his drum students and had longtime friendships with his piano teacher, Jackie; and guitar teachers, Dave and Jan. Pat was a band member of the Roy Russell Quartet for many years.
