"Bobby's life was an incredible blessing that shined through everyone he encountered. He began his musical journey carrying his trombone two miles up hill in both directions through the snow, and shared his father's love of music. He met his sweetheart , Bonnie , in 7th grade homeroom because their last names both began with "M". Bobby was always a child at heart, wanting to drive any heavy machinery at hand, from dump trucks, to submarines to school buses. His wardrobe consistantly included every tone of Cabella's khaki, and all shades of Jet's green or Yankee pin stripes. His happy place was captaining his RV, parading his 1950's Willys "Jr.", or taking some "down time" on Martha's Vineyard. Bobby developed innumerable lasting relationships and friendships with his students , friends , colleagues and church buddies.
